THE AMAZING "BRETAGNE" LEAVING PORTSMOUTH
Captured here at sea the beautiful BRETAGNE is looking every inch a cruise ship, I just would like to see the funnel logo and the BF letters on the hull being reduced, ships looks very attractive in white, unless they are huge, BRITTANY FERRIES needs to promote even more the idea of Cruise Ferries and a big step forward for that is to make them look like cruise ships, photo taken on the 23rd June from the LD LINES "NORMAN SPIRIT"

"LES DUNES" FROM RESTAURANT TO GAMES ROOM ON MV "BARFLEUR"
During the BARFLEUR refit in 2009, the main restaurant "Les Dunes" was replaced by a games room, I am not sure if this room´s new role is appropriate, shame the restaurant has gone anyway, also showing here is the main reception, photos taken in May 2011

ON THE BRIDGE ABOARD BRITTANY FERRIES "BRETAGNE"
Before the 11th of September 2001 we could visit the bridge and even sometimes the engine room, tours were actually organized on board and I really miss that, after the September the 11th 2001 these places became forbidden areas which is a shame, photos inside BRETAGNE during a voyage from Saint-Malo to Portsmouth in 2000

THE MUCH LOVED "VAL DE LOIRE"
the MV VAL DE LOIRE served BRITTANY FERRIES very well for 13 years mainly on the Plymouth/Santander service, she is over 31.000 GRT and has a cruising speed of 20 knots, I have great memories of this great ship, sailed many times on her, experienced exquisite food as well as some really rough seas, photos here shows the vessel during a Christmas cruise to Le Havre in 1999 and at sea
