Cruising on "PONT-AVEN" with a busy Football schedule

It's always fascinating to sail on "PONT-AVEN", fully loaded or nearly empty, today we are just over 400 people on board, food glorious food will be served later on both restaurants, the cocktail of the week is really good and tonight there will be some excitement with Football games that will cover the different nationalities on board the ship, France play Ukraine and Portugal play Sweden for the World Cup play offs and England play Germany on a friendly, should be interesting to see what happens later. I am back on board "PONT-AVEN" for my trip number 21 on this beautiful ship, we are sailing to Santander on a 24 hour crossing from Portsmouth, captain announced a comfortable crossing with force winds 6/7, she is now doing about 25/26 knots. Photos 19.11.2013

"PONT-AVEN" sailing the Bay of Biscay

"PONT-AVEN" cruising the Bay of Biscay as promised before, this trip goes back to the 15th of October, another crossing from Portsmouth to Santander, a rough ride for a part of the trip where we encountered 7/8 force winds with waves that reached 4 meters, quite common for this time of the year, the ship once again performed impeccably.
