BAIE DE SEINE entered service with BF on the 11th of May 2015, serving the routes Portsmouth to Le Havre and Portsmouth to Bilbao after being chartered from DFDS SEAWAYS, the ship before starting her new role was refitted and new gas-filters were installed. Once on board one can feel immediately the BF touch, carpeted and with several portraits identical to the other ships on the fleet, the ship was a pleasant surprise, passenger amenities include a self-service Restaurant, a Bar, Kids Playroom, Pet exercise area, boutique and a Petit Marche providing light snacks, she has also a very decent amount of open space throughout the top decks, my favourite room on the ship is the "Reading Lounge", something missing on all the other ships, it's a shame BAIE DE SEINE and ETRETAT are not painted like all the rest of the fleet, the ships would look a lot smarter, but it is understandable that a new brand, BF ECONOMIE, has recently been promoted. BAIE DE SEINE is just over 22.000 G.T., has capacity for 610 passengers, 160 cars and 84 trailers, the ship was built in Poland in 2002, she is operated daily on the Portsmouth to Le Havre route and every Tuesday she does a round trip to Bilbao from Portsmouth.
